Jean Van de Velde loses it on the 18th at the 1999 Open
Jean de Velde is a name that causes golf fans to shudder with embarrassment. The Frenchman was leading the 1999 Open championship and needed only a double bogey on the 18th to claim victory. Eventually he finished with a triple bogey and lost the play-off to Paul Lawrie.
