Chris Waddle was one of English football's greatest talents and played for Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield Wednesday and Marseille. So it's a shame that he should be remembered for managing to sky his spot kick in the 1990 World Cup semi-final penalty shootout against Germany several yards over the bar.
