After developing her vocal styling with the bands Two Lane Blacktop and Teenager, Wellington born Phillipa Brown broke out on her own and released her self-titled debut album in September 2008.

Performing under the name Ladyhawke the sassy singer songwriter has hit on global success and was described by The Guardian as a "union between Pat Benatar and Peaches". Big things are expected from her eclectic and funky music over the coming year.
