The Iron Lady may well divide opinion like few before her, but whatever their political persuasion, the history and politics academics agreed she left a lasting impression on Britain.
In the research Lady Thatcher, who lead from the front between 1979 and 1990, was the only PM with an overall positive score on Britain's role in the world/foreign policy. She received a 6.9 score overall from the participants.
