Skipping meals or starving does not help to lose weight
Some of the more extreme dieters out there believe that for a quick weight loss, skipping meals or starving themselves is the best way.
Not only is this method extremely unhealthy but it doesnÂ’t work either, maybe temporarily, but in the long-term it may have the opposite effect.
A diet like this cannot and should not be maintained. As the body begins to crave high-fat and high-sugar foods you will eventually give in and eat more than you usually would to satisfy the craving meaning that you could actually put on weight instead.
