He was married at the age of 18 to Anne Hathaway (the Oscar winning actress is no relation). Already expecting before they tied the knot, Shakespeare’s first child was born six months after the wedding. The couple had three children together – a son, Hament, who died in 1596, and two daughters – Susana and Judith. Among his children, it was only Susanna who had a child and she named it Elizabeth. She died childless in 1670. Therefore, the great Shakespeare has no descendants.
