Most robbers try to avoid the CCTV cameras to avoid being... well, identified easily. But such safety measures didn't deter this thief (who didn't even wear a mask) as he swiped a £1,000 security camera from a retail park in Manchester while it beamed back his image to security.

The footage has been released in an attempt to track down the toothless criminal after he swiped the camera last year. Despite such a close-up, Greater Manchester Police have had no luck so far. Here's hoping he steals a high-definition colour one next time...
