Virgin

Richard Bransons first real venture into the world of business was an outstanding success. At the helm of Virgin he took the company straight to the top from their very first release, the groundbreaking 'Tubular Bells'.

In 1977 the label signed one of the most controversial acts ever, the Sex Pistols then reinvented itself as the home of New Wave, bringing in Human League, Culture Club, Simple Minds and more. The label also had great success in the world of Reggae.
