Is Britain becoming a surveillance society?
An eye on the iPhone
iPhone hacker and data-forensics expert Jonathan Zdziarski has recently exposed Apple's must-have gadget's surveillance dangers, revealing that the gizmo records users' actions. Zdziarski explained that the handset captures a screenshot of the most recent action, be it sending a text message, e-mailing or browsing a web page, in order to cache it. The image is later deleted by the iPhone but the data can be recovered, as has been demonstrated in recent court cases.
