Downfall divas
Judy Garland
The actress and singer, who was best known for her role in 'The Wizard of OZ' back in 1939, also had more than her fair share of a drug-addled lifestyle.
The first obvious signs of her demise were when she toured Australia in 1964 when she could no longer hide the effects of alcohol and medication abuse. She forgot the lyrics to songs and slurred the lines which she remembered, and it soon became obvious that she was either ill or under the influence. By early 1969 Garland's health had deteriorated rapidly and she was found dead by her husband. It was reported she died of an accidental overdose.
