The Grammy-winning singer has had her share of downfall diva moments. In 2000 she was arrested at an airport for marijuana possession and her troubled marriage to now ex-husband Bobby Brown was heavily documented.

But in her own words she told of her troubles perfectly. Admitting to taking pills, cocaine and cannabis in an interview with Diane Sawyer, Houston said: "I'm not gonna tell you I'm somebody's junkie. My business is sex, drugs, rock and roll. You know? My friends, we have a good time. But as you get older and you get wiser - you stop a lot of the kid stuff. Trust me. I partied my tail off. You get to a point where... the party's over."
