Radio Two DJ and presenter Chris found himself at the centre of a race row in June, following comments he made to a highly respected black scientist.

Evans told Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, who was a guest on the One Show:

"I can barely see you, to be honest."

To date, the BBC has received 56 complaints from viewers who interpreted his comments as a racist joke.
