A whopping two thirds of all fat is heart healthy poly and monounsaturated, with as much as 13% coming from non-cholesterol producing saturated fat, stearic acid.
It's high in protein, to keep you feeling fuller and muscle and bone health - a typical 20g pack contains 2g more protein than an egg, or a fifth of your recommended daily allowance.
Despite also being low in sugar and carbs, pork scratchings are high in salt so shouldn't me consumed too often.
