The series' team of forensic investigators have been solving crimes since 2000 and the show's finale, of which Quentin Tarantino directed, generated quite a buzz (35 million tuned in, in the States).

Since then creator Anthony Zuiker has discussed the possibility of a feature length film saying: "I hope that comes true because I have some ideas about that. I can't really verbalise them, but I think there's a way to make it work."
