Spurs took the lead twenty minutes into the first half through veteran Centre Back Naybet. However with the last kick before the break Henry equalised for the Gunners.

In a topsy-turvy second half Lauren converted a penalty to give Arsenal the lead, Vieira then made it 3-1 and seemingly killed the game. However Defoe scored a great effort to pull one back for the home side before Ljungberg restored Arsenal's two goal lead. Spurs captain Ledley King then grabbed a goal to set up a frantic finish.
