To celebrate 50 years of larger than life service and cult approval, the two sweater concept coupe has been unveiled, billed as the most dynamic Mini ever created.

With a 211bhp turbo-charged engine, itÂ’s a far cry from the original modelÂ’s tame 34bhhp, but whatÂ’s really getting the purists riled up is its new, muscular appearance.

With boy-racer style looks, go-faster stripes, a low roofline and a rear-roof spoiler, the coupe may signal a change of direction for Mini if the concept goes into general production. Details are scarce, but itÂ’s not the only trick theyÂ’ve got up their sleeves.
