The console: Xbox 360

Great games can make the difference between a gaming console becoming a hit or a total flop.

Plenty of machines have fallen to the wayside despite superior processing and graphical power as it they were not properly supported by developers, the Atari Jaguar and Sega Saturn being perfect examples.

And those machines that have been a huge success all have their trademark titles, the game that sold the machine. For the Xbox 360 that game is 'Gears of War' but what about the consoles that came before?
