'The Vanessa Show'
The fake:

The Vanessa chat show was supposed to be dealing with real-life stories and helping her guests to deal with their issues on TV.

What really happened:

The Mirror revealed that three women who appeared on the show were recruited by an entertainment agency working on commission from a BBC researcher. The alleged fakes included an unmarried actress claiming to be a battered wife and two strippers, who were unrelated, but introduced on the show as sisters.
