A 'Blue Peter' phone-in contestant who won a competition to win a toy was asked to identify a character from a soap opera from a picture of his feet and an accompanying clue.

The winner of the competition was actually plucked from the audience by a member of the production staff.

But thats not all! The BBC also admitted to several phone-in scams on a number of other shows, including charity-fests 'Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief'.
