There is some controversy surrounding Kelly's transformation from frumpy teen to elegant woman. It was reported that her loss of two stone was not through diet or exercise.

She told The Mirror: "Forget all that healthy-eating bulls***. I have a thyroid problem which means I s*** all the time. My doctors want me to start taking steroids for it but **** that. I don't want to put all the weight back on again."

However an airbrushing expert, James Facey, told the Daily Mail that the publicity image for 'Chicago' was, "a really extreme case of retouching. This looks like a combination of a very tightly fitting corset and an extensive amount of Photoshop computer trickery."
