Wearing masks and capes, seven men took to the stage looking slightly sinister to the sound of monks chanting. But seconds in, they suddenly lived up to their own expectations revealing themselves to be like no act ever before.

One by one each look-a-like tore off their capes to reveal their character, David Brent, James Bond, David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, Mr T, Will Smith and finally the piece la resistance, Simon Cowell. The audience lapped it up, sending them through to the semi-finals.
