Suave, dapper, and authoritative, the Third Doctor was a man of action, practicing matial arts and riding all sorts of vehicles, including the Whomobile and his pride and joy, the canary-yellow vintage roadster nicknamed "Bessie".

Pertwee's Doctor mainly resided on Earth, spending most of his exile working as a scientist while occasionally receiving orders for covert missions from the Time Lords.

Fun fact: When serving in the navy, Pertwee woke up one morning to find he'd had a tattoo done the night before!
