10 of the most endangered species
California condor - Approximately 200
This is the largest flying bird in North America, with a wingspan that can spread up to 9.5 feet.
The animal is a true Beach Boys fan as it is a native of Southern California. It eats other animals but it doesn't kill; it waits to find carcasses to feed on. There are approximately 200 specimens left in the world, less than 80 of which are in the wild.
