The Abominable Snowman, or Tibetan Yeti, is a huge, hairy ape-man hybrid beast who lives above the snowline in the Himalayan regions of India, Nepal and Tibet. Evidence consists of a famous film and various photographs of giant footprints and other sightings

Recently a single hair found caught on some rocks in jungle near the India-Bangladesh border has been identified as alien to the region. Tests showed the thick, wiry hairs do not belong to any of the animals known to live in the area. Instead, they bear a 'startling resemblance' to some collected half a century ago by Everest conqueror Sir Edmund Hillary.
