Richard Curtis directs an ensemble cast in a film that is a favourite at both ValentineÂ’s Day and Christmas. With an all star cast, including Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Kiera Knightley, Liam Neison and a cameo from Mr. Bean himself, Rowan Atkinson, the film interweaves eight different love stories that eventually are all related in some way.

There are some tearful moments but it ends on a high and includes a great performance from Hugh Grant as a far from typical prime minister.
