With a theme tune as famous as the film, 'Singing in the Rain' is one of the oldest in the list and follows the transition from silent movies to talking pictures. Don, a famous actor, accidentally meets aspiring actress Kathy Selden while escaping from his fans, only to fall in love with her.

Don's female counterpart, Lina, has troubles with the sharp tune of her voice, while Kathy has the vocals of an angel. The producers decide to dub the beautiful Lina's voice with that of Kathy's in a bid to save their movie. When the jealous Lina finds out, she is unwilling to share the credits and insists on giving a speech and singng for the audience, only for the truth to be revealed.
