Vodafone 5G Business Lounge

Vodafone Business Lounge opens for local businesses to experience 5G technology.

Vodafone has recently launched its business lounge to accommodate local businesses that are interested in learning more about 5G technology and its various applications. Guests are given the opportunity to try some demos that demonstrate the impact of the technology on various industries including sports and retail. 

 

 

 

Anne Sheehan, Director at Vodafone Business, said: “The Vodafone Business Lounge will enable West Midlands businesses to experience the game-changing potential of 5G and foster innovation and partnerships. With 5G, we can help turn their vision into reality.” 

 

 

 

Richard Brown, a Digital Champion at Coventry City Council, said: “We want this region to be a technology hub; and we hope such investment will have a significant impact on the local economy and attract businesses and jobs to the area.” 

 

 

 

5G is expected to revolutionise various industries especially the world of medicine. Many hospitals in the country are now experimenting with remote operations that run entirely on 5G in which doctors do not need to be physically present whilst operation take place. Instead, they can watch live and offer advice to the surgeons operating. 

 

 

 

Vodafone, which is committed to building more technology centres across the UK, has recently opened the Digital Innovation Hub at MediaCityUK in Salford.
