Coronation Street romancer Steve begins to regret having jumped into bed with ex-girlfriend Tracy when she decides they should move in together.

Coronation Street romancer Steve begins to regret having jumped into bed with ex-girlfriend Tracy when she decides they should move in together.

Tracy, played by Kate Ford, is over the moon at being back with her former lover and father of her child and immediately begins planning their future as a family.

At the same time, however, Steve, played by Simon Gregson, is getting seriously cold feet about their fledgling relationship and thinks he may have made a mistake.

When he finds out she is already plotting with grandmother Blanche to turn her house, currently rented by the Baldwins, into a little love nest, he tries to fob her off.

But Steve doesn't have the guts to end it altogether as he is scared that hotheaded Tracy may prevent him from seeing daughter Amy in revenge.

At the eleventh hour, an unlikely saviour arrives in the form of Blanche, played by Maggie Hunt, who decides she wants to sell the house.

But Steve knows he's only off the hook temporarily - and has to come up with a way to stall Tracy for good.
