Lawyers acting on behalf of Big Brother star Makosi Musambasi are fighting government moves to evict her from the UK, the People reports.
The 24-year-old reportedly faces deportation back to her home country within ten days.
It is understood that Makosis decision to appear on the Channel 4 reality show contravened the visa she used to enter the UK as a cardiac nurse.
She was taken in for questioning by police on Monday after being stopped in High Wycombe for not wearing a seat belt. She was subsequently probed about her visa by immigration officials.
But Makosis lawyer Philip Barth of law firm Penningtons, insists that the reality TV star had not broken the terms of her visa as her appearance on Big Brother could be classed as "work."
"We were already putting together the case for her staying when the Home Office pre-empted us," he told the People.
The paper claims an appeal against Makosis deportation will be lodged within days.
The Big Brother star is reportedly anxious that being evicted from the country would be more frightening that being booted off the reality TV show.
"I'm really worried. There are people in my country who believe I humiliated Zimbabweans by showing my t*ts on telly," lamented Makosi.
