Walford brothers Phil and Grant Mitchell have come to blows in real life, the Sunday Mirror claims.
The paper claims that actor Ross Kemp, 41, who has returned to EastEnders after a six-year break, is refusing to speak to co-star Steve McFadden, 46, when the cameras stop rolling.
It is claimed that Kemp is furious at reports that McFadden, who plays his on-screen brother Phil, has been criticising his acting abilities.
In revelations made to the press about McFaddens private life by his former lover Angela Bostock, the actors ex claimed he boasted: "I'm a much better actor than Ross."
She also alleged that he denounced his EastEnders co-stars as "queen bees, weasels and prima donnas."
An unnamed insider for the soap told the Sunday Mirror that even Barbara Windsor, who plays Mitchell matriarch Peggy in the show, cannot get her on-screen sons to kiss and make up.
"Barbara was gutted about them not speaking to each other. She begged Ross to sort it out, but he said he will only speak to Steve on camera," the source said.
