Madonna has been named the highest earning woman in music today.She is said to have 220million in the bank and made in excess of 36million last year alone. A lot of this came from her Confessions tour while her H&M fashion range turned a tidy profit too.

With Madonna the worlds most successful singer - having sold 220million records since her 1982 debut - Mr Ritchie must be feeling like a very lucky man.
