Lily Allen is changing her stage name to Lily Rose Cooper. The singer wants to be more publicly known as the wife of Sam Cooper, her property developer husband. Sam and Lily married last year and now have an eight-month-old daughter named Ethel. They are currently expecting another child. 

 

Lily will be using her new stage name when she releases the new material she is currently working on. According to her publicist, Lily is already using her new name on her Twitter page. 

 

The singer, who had previously retired from the music industry, seems to have changed her mind as she launched her own record label and headed back to the recording studio back in June. She has been working on some new tracks since then and is now getting ready to release them. 

 

Lily said that it is great to be working ‘at her own pace’ and ‘with no commitments other than to make music.’ No release date for the new album has been set, but it is confirmed that the album will be released under her married name Lily Rose Cooper. 

 

Aside from singing, Lily also spends time on her fashion line and clothing rental shop, which she and her sister Sarah launched last year.
