Kate Winslet marries for the third time

Kate, who was given away by Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, married Ned Rocknroll in New York.

Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll were married earlier this month in New York, a spokesman for the actress has confirmed.

 

It was also revealed that the ceremony was attended by her two children from previous marriages together with few friends and family members.

The third-time bride was given away by her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. 

 

It was also revealed that Kate and Ned have been secretly engaged for months. The couple decided to make the wedding so private that even their parents were not aware of the nuptials. The groom’s father said: 'It's not something I know of - but nothing would surprise me with those two.'

 

The actress wedding ring is said to have been designed by private jeweller Charles Goode of Goode & Son. 

 

This is Kate’s third marriage and Ned’s second. 

 

Kate was previously married to Jim Threapleton with whom she had a daughter, Mia. She also married Skyfall director Sam Mendes in 2003. The pair welcomed a son together the same year. Ned, on the other hand, was previously married to multimillionaire Viscount Cowdray’s daughter Eliza.
