When Coronation Street's Vera tells Jack she's fed up with living with him and moves out, Jack hatches a fishy plan to woo her back.
Vera, played by 65-year-old Liz Dawn, moves in with Frankie and Danny Baldwin next door and then skedaddles to Southport.
But Jack, played by Bill Tarmey, knows what Vera likes and wins her back by cooking her a Corrie classic - fish and chips.
A Street spokesman told the Daily Star: "It's a typical Jack and Vera bust-up. They're known for their legendary rows and this of course is no exception.
"Fans will be supporting them. And they'll be happy because it's a very romantic make-up for their favourites too."
The argument flairs up when one of Jack's pigeons relieves itself on Vera's photograph of Charles and Camilla. When Jack tells Vera they should discuss the problem over a cup of tea made by her, it's the straw that breaks the camel's back.
