Is Syska's Smart Light a great addition to your smart home?

Are you in the market for a smart light bulb that can be controlled using your smartphone or smart speaker?

One of your options is Smart Light from an Indian Lighting company called Syska. The product is a smart RGB LED light bulb that supports up to 3 million unique colour shades with a wattage of 7W and an intensity of 480 Lumens. Just like other smart light bulbs in the market today, it can be controlled using your smartphone or smart speaker as long as it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the bulb.

 

Once set up, you can choose whatever colour you want the LED bulb to glow as well as its brightness. It can also be timed or scheduled wherein the bulb will automatically turn or off at a pre-set time.

 

Multiple Syska Smart Light LED bulbs can be grouped together and controlled simultaneously. For instance, if you have two bulbs in your study area and another one in your bedroom, you can control them at the same time instead of doing so individually.

 

However, it has been noted that the app is not very intuitive and is often very buggy. Thus, Syska recommend using a third-party app in their user manual. Although not really well polished, it is much better than Syska’s Smart Home App.
