Hatcher hits back at weight worries

'Desperate Housewives' star Teri Hatcher has hit back at claims she has lost too much weight.

The stunning actress prompted health fears when she was pictured looking worryingly thin as she was out jogging.

However, Teri - who plays Susan Meyer in the hit show - insists she has not lost any weight and is simply maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

She fumed to Britain's Closer magazine: "My weight has not changed at all, or my size, or anything. I'm actually in great shape - thus the jogging. Hello?!

"The only thing I'm guilty of is being too athletic and refusing to eat garbage. I eat a lot of fruit."

A spokesman for the 40-year-old star added: "Teri has done everything within her power to set a healthy example for young women. She is certainly not a compulsive dieter, and doesn't have an eating disorder of any kind."
