Coronation Street's Les Battersby is finding this wedding lark rather dangerous, having had his attempt at booking a venue met with a right hook from his bride-to-be.
The inept Romeo, played by Bruce Jones, is desperate to please beau Cilla Brown, played by Wendi Peters, ahead of their big day, but things are really not going to plan.
And when he leaves it too late to find an appropriate place for the ceremony to take place, he ends up settling for a former second world war corrugated shed instead, the Daily Star reports.
Unsurprisingly, Cilla is not too taken by the idea of getting hitched in a hut, particularly as the prospective vicar is an alcoholic who has been defrocked, and lets Les know exactly how she feels.
"I hope that drunken vicar flamin' does funerals an' all 'cos I'm going to kill you!" she will scream in riveting scenes to be shown later this summer.
She then chases him out of the hut, leaving Les, who had blindfolded his fiancee and led her to the venue in the deluded belief that she would love it, wondering whether he has blown it for good.
