Karen McDonald's back to cause Steve more trouble - but this time she isn't even appearing on screen.

A new twist in poor Steve's love-life sees him harangued by Karen's lawyers, who demand that he return the TV set that she gave to him as a gift.

A Weatherfield mole told the Daily Star: "We won't be seeing Karen on screen. She will do it all through her lawyers."

Karen last appeared in the soap in January, when Steve asked her to leave him for good after she tried to kidnap his daughter and had a vicious fight with Tracy.

She has left the Street before, when Steve tracked her down and won her back. And now that he's split up with Tracy, maybe this signals another chapter in the Karen and Steve saga.

Meanwhile Steve finds out that Dev has sold his shares in Streetcar in order to try and cope with the twins Sunita is carrying.
