A poll by royalties chief PRS for Music has revealed the most recognisable tunes off the box.

Since its debut broadcast in 1982 as the first programme to air on Channel 4, and over 50 series, 'Countdown' has featured the famous ticking clock and associated theme tune which we just can't get out of our heads.
