Native to Asia, the fishing cat - one of the few species of cats which is not dissuaded by water thanks to two layers of fur which keep its skin dry - is tragically in decline. This is due to land drainage, pollution and over-fishing by humans.

It has also been revealed that a quarter of the land's mammals and a third of those at sea are being wiped out thanks to disease, harvesting, pollution.
