The world famous Irish rockers were the world's biggest-selling band over the past 12 months, according to Forbes.com.

Their massive 360 world tour brought in more than $311m in gross box office receipts, with each stop collecting $10m in gross ticket sales and millions more in merchandise sales.

Add to that their lucrative success of a steady-selling back catalogue and continual royalties from airplay, and the band become the highest-earning music group on the planet.
