This countdown lists the top 10 games franchises based on worldwide sales. In at 10 we have the Tom Clancy series which began back in 1990 with Red Storm Rising.

Since then Clancy has continued to turn his novels into hugely successful video games, the most prominent of which being the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon titles.
