Position: Defender

For many years Peacock was thought of as a top-quality, no-nonsense defender. He was even known to score the occasional goal, including the first against Manchester United in their 5-0 drumming by Newcastle.

Then his injury prone nature shun through. While on loan to Wolves he collided with his own goalkeeper, damaged vertebrae in his neck and suffered a compression to his spine. He retired in December 2000.
