The 2008 Games courted controversy time and time again. Despite being received by the world's mass media as an overwhelming success there are still questions being asked.

Allegations were thrown including China violating its pledge to allow open media access, banning of protests (especially those concerning Tibet) and the host nation's entrance of underage gymnasts.
