Sadly Enzo Ferrari passed away in 1988, aged 90, but not before seeing the release of his project, the F40.

A mid-engine sports car, the F40 was the fastest street legal vehicle in the world at the time, holding the record from 1987 to 1989. Still one of the best supercars in the world, it was a fitting tribute to Ferrari's iconic founder.
