Obesity - £4.4 million
Obesity is costing the nation £4.4 million for those who are too large to get to work. Similarly those with eating disorders are making taxpayers cough up an additional £4.3 million.
Matthew Elliott, chief executive of the Taxpayers' Alliance pressure group said "There is a huge difference between not being able to work and not feeling like working."
