Biggest train set
German twin brothers Frederick and Gerrit Braun spent the last nine years painstakingly putting together the world's biggest train set. And it still keeps growing. Kept inside a previously empty building in Hamburg, it features around six miles of track covering 1,150 square metres.
The patient brothers spent around 500,000 hours and the equivalent of more than £8m on their creation dubbed the 'Miniatur Wunderland' which is split into six regions including America and the Austrian Alps.
Each region contains stunning detail (such as small models painting one of the boats, seen above). More than 160 people have been hired to show tourists around the set that even replicates day and night due to a quarter of a million lights.
