The Atlanta Falcons Quarterback was found guilty of operating the dog fighting kennel 'Bad Newz Kennels' and handling thousands of dollars in related gambling activity.

He entered a plea bargain and was sentenced in December 2007 but received a harsher sentence than the others involved in the scheme. This was because the judge ruled he had been "less than truthful" in his statements regarding the killing of pit bulls as part of the venture.
