'Offensive' children's books shelved
Libraries all over the UK have removed a number of children's classics from its shelves after parents complained that the books were "offensive", according to a new survey.
Angry mothers and fathers criticised dozens of children's authors, accusing them of being racist, glorifying violence and blasphemous, reports the Daily Express.
A total of 98 library authorities listed 150 complaints about childrenÂ’s books received in the last five years.
