It sounds like a pharmaceutical Holy Grail but in fact this wonder pill already exists. Vitamin K, which until recently was thought to only be useful was in helping blood to clot, has now emerged as having a number of significant uses.
Research suggests that it can not only help reduce the risk of the listed illnesses above, but it is also has the ability to strengthen brittle bones. Cancer research UK has even indicated there are investigations into whether or not the drug has a significant effect in helping to prevent the disease.
